Monel Wire
Monel Wire is selected from its stiffness, recovery, wear, wet-service, chemical, and temperature behavior. Brush stiffness depends on more than material. Filament size, exposed length, density, grade, and operating conditions all matter.

Material Overview
Monel Wire is a nickel-copper alloy wire used as brush fill or a cleaning-contact element.
In a finished brush, Monel Wire does not create a fixed stiffness by itself. Brush force and recovery come from the complete filament geometry and contact setting, not just the polymer name. Service conditions must also be considered.
