Pig bristle is an animal-derived tapered fill with natural variation in diameter, flagging and stiffness.

In a finished brush, Pig Bristle does not create a fixed stiffness by itself. Brush force and recovery come from the complete filament geometry and contact setting, not just the polymer name. Service conditions must also be considered.
