Titanium Wire

Titanium Wire is selected from its stiffness, recovery, wear, wet-service, chemical, and temperature behavior. For a usable stiffness specification, provide the material, filament diameter, free trim, density, grade, and operating conditions.

Titanium Wire

Material Overview

Titanium Wire is a specialty metal wire used as brush fill or a cleaning-contact element.

In a finished brush, Titanium Wire does not create a fixed stiffness by itself. Filament size, exposed length, density, tuft layout, and contact setting control the brush feel, while grade and service conditions control long-term behavior.

Material Properties

Wire diameter0.08–0.50 mm; straight or crimped
Temperature range-100–500°C
StiffnessFirm with lower density than steel

Brush Applications

For Titanium Wire, directly related brush structures include Tube & Pipe Bore Brushes, Handheld Detail Brushes, Cup Brushes, and Spring Brushes. Applications related to Titanium Wire include Heat Exchanger Tube Cleaning, Pipe Robot Brush Attachment Use, Hose Cleaning, and Tube & Pipe Cleaning.
