PA12 is a long-chain polyamide noted for low moisture absorption, hydrolysis resistance and resistance to many oils, fuels and greases.
In a finished brush, PA12 Nylon does not create a fixed stiffness by itself. Filament diameter, trim length, density, tuft layout, and installed contact determine working force, while grade and environment affect durability and recovery.
