Material Overview
Silicone rubber is an elastomer family valued for elastic recovery and weathering; standard and fluorosilicone grades have different fluid resistance.
In a finished brush, Silicone Rubber does not create a fixed stiffness by itself. Filament size, exposed length, density, tuft layout, and contact setting control the brush feel, while grade and service conditions control long-term behavior.
