What Is the Brush Doing to the Web or Package?
Dust removal, guiding, sealing-area cleaning and static control may use similar-looking brushes but require different contact pressure and fiber behavior.
Paper, film or package surface
Thin film and printed surfaces can mark or scratch under excessive pressure, while rougher paper processes may tolerate firmer contact.
Line speed and web tension
Continuous contact must remain stable without dragging, wrinkling or deflecting the moving material.
Dust or static issue
If static is part of the problem, specify the electrical requirement; a dusting brush alone does not guarantee charge control.
Roller, plate, wheel or hand position
The machine position sets core, shaft, base and clearance dimensions as well as the contact pattern.
