PA612 Car Vent Brush

A PA612 Car Vent Brush is a hand-guided detailing tool built specifically for cleaning automotive interior ventilation openings and other narrow crevices. It combines a fan-shaped filament head made from PA612 nylon with a compact ABS handle.

The fan-shaped head is not round; it flares outward from the handle like a small paddle. This shape lets the bristles enter between vent slats at the thin edge and then sweep along the slat surfaces as you push or pull. During use, the operator works the brush in short strokes along the vent direction, letting the bristles dislodge dust, lint, crumbs, and light debris. The debris either falls away or is wiped up with a microfiber cloth afterward.

This is a dry or lightly dampened cleaning tool, not a wet scrub brush. It is designed for regular interior maintenance, not for removing heavy grease, tar, or baked-on contaminants. The ABS handle should not be soaked or exposed to aggressive solvents.

This is not a wheel brush or a heavy-duty scrub brush; it is intended for interior vent and crevice work.

Start by measuring the narrowest vent gap or crevice you need to clean. The leading edge of the fan head must be thin enough to enter, but the bristles should still make contact with both sides. A gap that is too tight will bend the bristles and reduce cleaning action.

Then consider the stiffness you need. PA612 nylon is a mid-stiffness filament: stiff enough to dislodge dust and crumbs, but not so stiff that it scratches soft plastic. If your vents have heavy buildup or sticky residues, you may need to pre-treat with an interior cleaner and follow with this brush. For extremely hard deposits, a stiffer brush or a vacuum with a crevice tool would be better.

Match the handle to the operator. The standard 120 mm handle is designed for fingertip control. For production-line or repetitive use, a longer handle or an ergonomic shape may reduce hand fatigue; that can be specified during customization.

For volume buyers, consider consistency of filament length, density, and fan angle, because these affect how the brush feels and how long it lasts. PA612 has good bend recovery, but repeated heavy use will eventually cause bristle splay. A brush with a dense fan pattern will splay more slowly than a sparse one.

When this brush is not the right choice: If the crevice is smaller than about 6 mm at the opening, a fine detail brush or a foam swab may fit better. If the surface requires zero risk of any contact marks, a soft microfiber or a static duster may be preferred. If the job involves heavy grease or tar on interior trim, use a dedicated solvent and a stiffer brush; this PA612 brush is for light maintenance.
