Consider material and hygiene requirements

304 stainless tips withstand repeated alcohol wiping and are the preferred choice for professional reuse. If your brand requires a fully metal-free tool for retail or travel security reasons, PP tips are available but will be less rigid and may lose alignment faster. Nylon PA bristles dry quickly and resist cosmetic oils, but avoid soaking the handle in strong solvents or acetone.

Know when a separate tool is the better choice

If the spoolie wears out before the tweezers, a two-piece set with a replaceable brush may lower long-term replacement cost. If tweezers must be autoclaved at high temperature, a fully metal tweezer plus disposable spoolie is safer.
